Nathan Dunkelberger



I am a PhD student in the MAHI Lab at Rice University. I am studying the next generation of assistive robotics. I am a robot enthusiast and my interests lie in using robots for good.

Research

I received my Master's degree in the design and validation of a multisensory haptic communication device. My PhD research focuses on providing assistance through robotics for tetraplegic individuals.


Projects

I have worked on several personal projects in my free time, usually involving building small-scale robots, or building software to use, simulate, or extend the use of those robots.

In my free time, I like to spend time outdoors, travel, making pizza, and hanging out with my family.
